At St Augustine’s, we have a range of facilities that students can access as part of their learning.
Café
Our College Café operates on a weekly basis and is proudly led by our VCE VM students alongside dedicated staff. Featuring a commercial coffee machine and a fully equipped commercial kitchen, the café provides students with valuable hands-on hospitality experience in a real-world setting, helping them develop practical skills, confidence and workplace readiness.
In addition, our Year 7–12 Food Technology students regularly utilise the kitchen facilities to build their culinary skills, explore food preparation techniques, and create a range of impressive dishes as part of their learning.
Gym
Our College is proud to offer a fully equipped onsite gym featuring high-quality cardio and conditioning equipment from Concept2, alongside Alphafit strength training equipment. This modern facility provides students with access to an engaging and professional fitness environment that supports both learning and wellbeing.
Used regularly by our PE and Sport & Recreation students, the gym offers valuable opportunities for hands-on learning as students explore body systems, fitness principles, and the many physical and mental health benefits of regular movement and exercise.
Trade Training Centre (TTC)
Our Trade Training Centre provides a dynamic learning environment for students undertaking VET Engineering, as well as Wood and Metalwork studies across our secondary years. Featuring dedicated woodwork and metalwork spaces, the centre is equipped to support practical, hands-on learning experiences.
Within this setting, students develop essential technical skills while gaining a strong understanding of safety procedures and the correct use of a wide range of tools and equipment. These opportunities help build confidence, independence, and valuable skills that can support future training pathways and careers in trade-related fields.
College Bus
Our College Bus service plays an important role in supporting student access and participation. By providing a dedicated morning and afternoon bus run, students living in Taturaare able to conveniently travel to and from the College each day, creating greater opportunities for families to be part of our school community.
In addition to daily transport, the College Bus is also regularly used for excursions and off-site learning experiences, enabling students to engage in a wide range of educational, sporting and community activities beyond the classroom.
